Individually and with others, students… Generate questions about multiple historical sources and their relationships to particular historical events and developments.

Not a focus of Third Grade's lessons, so no weeks are listed.

What it means for your child

This standard asks children to ask questions about several historical sources and how they connect to events. Third Grade's lessons do not focus on it.

Try it at home

1. Look at two old photos of your town and list questions about them.
2. Ask, 'What would you want to know about the person who made this?'
3. Visit a museum and pick one object to ask questions about.
