Your child ends an opinion piece with a concluding sentence or section that restates the opinion.

Try it at home

1. Ask, 'How can you remind your reader what you think?'
2. Read the last line of a book review together and talk about how it ends.
3. Have your child write a closing sentence for a family 'best dessert' vote.
