- The denominator says each whole has 3 equal parts.
- 3/3 fills one whole. 5 parts is 2 more than 3.

- Add 2–3 sentences of evidence.
- End with a closing sentence that ties back to your opinion.

Another reason is that more swings would mean less waiting. Right now, kids wait about ten minutes for a turn. Some kids give up and sit on the bench. With four swings, many more kids could swing at every recess. That is why our playground needs more swings.

The Dog Park Question
In the town of Cedar Creek, Mr. Alvarez had an idea. He asked the town council to build a dog park. The council held a public meeting. Some neighbors said dogs need a safe place to run. Others worried about barking and parking. The council listened to everyone. Then the seven council members voted. Four voted yes and three voted no. In the spring, workers built a fence and put in benches.
