Your child forms and uses regular and irregular verbs, like jumped, ran, ate and wrote.
Try it at home
- Play 'Yesterday I ...' and say a verb in the past tense.
- Make a list of irregular past-tense verbs your child uses often.
- Gently correct verbs like 'catched' to 'caught.'
